Measure your companion and the space you plan to use. Start with comfort, then check the product’s intended use.
Before choosing a size
- Measure your pet in their usual resting position, including the space they need to turn and settle comfortably.
- Compare the product’s external width and depth with the car seat or floor space. Padding reduces the internal resting area.
- Check seat contours, door clearance and access to the vehicle’s own belts and anchors. Do not choose by breed or weight alone.
- If a product lists a carrying or weight limit, follow that limit. External dimensions are not a carrying-capacity rating.

Use in a vehicle
- Follow the instructions supplied with the product and your vehicle. Secure any fitting straps as directed and inspect them before each trip.
- A padded travel bed or carrier alone is not a crash restraint. Do not infer crash protection or certification from product photographs, padding or a tether.
- Use appropriate pet vehicle-restraint equipment for your pet and vehicle. Attach an included pet tether only as instructed, to a compatible harness rather than decorative jewelry.
- Keep your pet away from the driver, vehicle controls and airbag deployment areas. Do not adjust the carrier while driving.
- Never leave a pet unattended in a vehicle. Stop using any product with damaged straps, closures, stitching or hardware.
Carrying & resting
Use handles only as directed for the specific product. Support the base, keep the carrier level and close to you, and prevent your pet from jumping out. An open-top carrier is not an escape-proof crate. Set beds on a stable surface and supervise pets that chew fabric, filling or decorative parts.
Crystal collar fit
Measure the neck where the collar will sit and compare it with the exact product’s size range. Recheck fit after fastening. Current decorative cat designs are not breakaway everyday collars; use only for brief occasions under direct supervision. Remove jewelry before sleep, crating, riding in carriers, bathing, rough play or unsupervised activity.
